If you own one, I’m sorry. just throw it out and wear a cardigan.

That’s like saying a “tiger” is a lion”. One may look like the other because it has 4 feet, a head and a tail, but totally different animal it’s the same with “sweater blazer” not the same, either it’s a sweater or it’s a blazer.

I checked Loro Pina website, and they have one for $2,350. but it’s silk and linen!

Designers are getting crazy with new concepts that will just be a fade for confused shoppers to buy and laughed at by the rest.

I consider them lounge wear—like, I suppose, a smoking jacket, except that they are good for keeping one warm. A knitted blazer (I have not previously encountered the term “sweater blazer”), as far as I can see, is just a cardigan sweater whose style is elevated in formality (relative to other cardigans, that is) by the incorporation of some of the structural features of a sport coat, such as lapels. I could wear a shawl-collar cardigan for the same purpose, but I have yet to see a shawl-collar cardigan whose style appeals to me. I almost never wear either of my knitted blazers outside of the house, since one cannot wear a sport coat over them, while they themselves do not look right as an outer garment.

By the way, in the video, Kyle speaks of the materials of sweaters as “fabric” and speaks of the “cut” of such garments. I may be misinformed on this point, but I believe that neither term is appropriate: knitted material, as I understand, is not fabric, and a knitted garment is not cut.
